Four (4) Baseball Field Scoreboards Replacement The Habersham County Board of Commissioners is soliciting the replacement of four baseball field scoreboards. Vendor must remove and dispose of all old scoreboards and install the new ones on the existing structures. All materials required shall be provided by the vendor to complete the installation and to rewire from the existing electrical field. All proposals shall constitute, for a period of 90 calendar days, an irrevocable offer to provide the goods/services set forth in the specification and proposal. Habersham County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to wave minor informalities, modify or re-advertise. The buildings are currently occupied and will be occupied during construction. The Aquatic Center has two roof types, existing to remain steep slope metal roof and existing low-slope modified bitumen roof over poly-iso insulation will be over-layed with new TPO roofing. The AVITA roof is an asphalt shingle to be replaced with new architectural dimensional asphalt shingles over 30# roofing felt. Any damaged plywood substrate needs to be repaired or replaced. Bid drawings are an approximate representation from a previous project. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on June 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. EST, the Executive Conference Room at 130 Jabobs Way in Clarkesville, GA 30523. FUNDING SOURCES This project is covered under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968. This contract opportunity is a Section 3 Covered Contract. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701 u (Section 3).
