A memorial service celebrating the life of Ronald Lee Carroll, 73, of Clarkesville was held Sunday, Sept. 1, at Hillside Memorial Chapel. Pastor Matt Henderson officiated with interment following the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Carroll passed away Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019.
Born April 5, 1946, in Decatur, he was the son of the late Albert and Flora Welborn Carroll. In addition to his parents, Mr. Carroll is preceded in death by brother, James Carroll.
Mr. Carroll was a United States Air Force Veteran and he was retired. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Clarkesville.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Reeves Carroll of Clarkesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Josh and Ashley Carroll of Macon, and Jason and Cissy Carroll of Charlotte, North Carolina; daughter, Katie Carroll of Clarkesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Gertrude Carroll, and Donald and Sharon Carroll, all of Clarkesville; sister, Betty Jean Carraway of Huntersville, North Carolina; mother-in-law, Charlotte Brewer Reeves; sisters-in-law, Sherrie Fry (Don) of Clarkesville, Candace Wallace of Demorest and Delores Carroll of Marietta; grandchildren, Emily and Maggie Carroll, Jackson Carroll and Zailee Carroll; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
