Is Sunday worship the mark of the Beast?

Let’s first look at the reason the billboards were put up to start with.

The outcry in the newspaper that people in the demonstrations held in the county were saying that the vaccine was the mark of the beast is not true. Whether you take a vaccine or not has nothing to do with worship and that is what the Mark of the Beast is all about – worship!

Brother Lyons started out saying that Sunday Worship had nothing to do with 666, but it does. The number 666 is the number of a man, and that man is the man of sin spoken of by the apostle Paul in 2 Thes. 2:3. That man is known as the Vicar of Christ, the official name of the pontiff or pope of Rome. Revelation 13:18 is where you find 666 and it is associated with the Papacy.

In their book the “Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine” page 50, they brag about it. The sign of their authority is in changing the solemnity of the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. The Protestant churches accepted Sunday as God’s day of worship because that is what the reformers were taught and they didn’t know any better.

The Beast of Revelation 13:1-8 is a symbol of that church, and she claims to have changed the solemnity of the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, from about 323 AD to 538 AD. This is her so-called sign of her power and authority. This is when the Mythra’s invaded the church. (“The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire,” by Edward Gibbon.)

The second beast of Revelation is a symbol of the United States which is a Protestant nation and she makes an image to the first Beast and that is passing laws whereby Sunday is kept like Saturday should be kept. These are called Blue Laws and they force businesses to close on Sunday whether they want to or not. But the one that forces everyone to pay homage to Sunday worship will be called the National Sunday Law and it will be for climate change to start with.

If we call ourselves Christian, then shouldn’t we be following the example of Christ? It was His custom to be in church on the Sabbath day.

The Ten Commandments are the moral law of God. They are a transcript of His character. If any or all of them could have been nailed to the cross, then Jesus would not have had to die.

If the early Christian church had been told to keep Sunday Holy, wouldn’t it have been recorded in the New Testament? But Jesus rose on Sunday to begin a new work for us and that is our High Priest in heaven. (Hebrews 8)

Satan has done a good job of keeping from the minds and hearts of God’s people the truth about the Sabbath. The false doctrine of Sunday Holiness came from Catholicism and for hundreds of years the catholic church hunted and killed the people that kept the Sabbath Holy. The important thing for those people, was that they were following the example of Jesus. He gave His life to us to show us how He wants us to live. So how can a manmade doctrine be supplanted to replace a blessing that God has given to us?
