Memorial services for Dorothy Elizabeth McMullan, 84, of Demorest, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, at Nacoochee Presbyterian Church in Sautee-Nacoochee, with the Rev. Bob Prim officiating.

Mrs. McMullan died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at a private care facility following an extended illness.

Born Feb. 17, 1928, in Junction City, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Maude Osborne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert D. McMullan, and two sons, Carl and Chris McMullan.

Mrs. McMullan was of the Presbyterian faith and one of her favorite hobbies was traveling.

She was a full-time dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and John Elger of Sautee-Nacoochee; daughter, Jonna Climie of Odenton, Md.; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Cee-Cee McMullan of Coppell, Texas; grandchildren, Joey (Elizabeth) Elger and Thomas (Tabitha) Elger, Halston McMullan and Brennan McMullan; and great-grandchildren, Asher Elger and Niall Elger.
