Funeral services for Mary Chapman Turner, 90, of Homer, are scheduled for 3 p.m. today, Jan. 29, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with the Rev. Bob Boswell officiating. Burial will follow in Banks County Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Turner died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014.

Born July 28, 1923, in Homer, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel Parson Chapman. She was the widow of Ralph Turner and was also preceded in death by her sisters, Frances Reid and Polly Tench; brother, Rozzie Chapman; and great-grandson, Andrew Funk.

Mrs. Turner was retired from Habersham Mills with several years of service.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and James Funk of Homer; sisters and brothers-in-law, Willoree and Odell Nix of Mt. Airy, Helen (Teddy) and Barry Taylor of Cornelia; brother and sister-in-law, Garnett and Alice Chapman of Alto; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
