Funeral services for Angie Shirley Pritchett, 87, of Alto, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at B.C. Grant Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Rice, the Rev. Doyal Conley and the Rev. Billy Harris officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Pritchett died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011.

Born Aug. 27, 1924, in Habersham County, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Ethaline Gailey Shirley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cedric C. Pritchett; daughter, Nancy Kay Pritchett; and brothers, Leonard and Cedron Shirley.

Mrs. Pritchett was a member of B.C. Grant Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Carwood and Duckhead Manufacturing.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Ken Loudermilk of Mt. Airy; sisters, Mary Stephens and Ona Belle Buchanan, both of Cornelia; grandson and wife, Jake and Michelle Loudermilk of Mt. Airy; and two great-grandchildren, Corbin and Ansley Loudermilk of Mt. Airy.
