Graveside services for Ann Gibson Wofford, 75, of Hiawassee, formerly of Demorest and Gainesville, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest, with the Rev. David Tensley officiating.

Mrs. Wofford died Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Wofford was a native of Douglas and attended Coffee County High School and Brenau University. She volunteered for many years at Habersham Medical Center and Chatuge General Hospital.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Lawton Wofford; son, John Lawton Wofford and wife Linda, of Clarkesville; daughter, Clair and husband A.D. Frazier Jr., of Atlanta; two grandchildren, Jason Davey and his wife Teneal, and Jamie Davey, all of Clarkesville; and three great-grandchildren.
