The beloved only child of Byron Todd and Rosie Head Todd, she was born July 26, 1923, in White County.
Beulah dedicated her life to caregiving as loving wife, devoted mother, doting grandmother and loyal friend. She excelled in Southern cooking and her gardening skills made Georgia a lovelier place by far.
Recently celebrating their 70th anniversary, she leaves behind a loving husband, Herman Logan Dodd. Sorely missing her are her children, sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Linda Dodd and Roy and Mildred Dodd; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Charles Witt and Chee Chee and David Chastain. Also heavy hearted are her grandchildren, Johnny Caudell, Debbie Garroutte, Jeffery Dodd, Valerie Lowe, Mark Dodd, Tom Dodd, Carly Gesite, Logan Witt and Mandy Grier. Additionally, 20 great-grandchildren will miss Grandma’s famous chicken and dumplings.
The family wishes to acknowledge the outstanding contributions made by Regency Hospice, in particular her Hospice Angel of Mercy, Donna Ledford. Their thoughtful care and empathetic concern were vital in ensuring Beulah’s comfort and quality of life.
As a memorial, gifts may be made to the Mt. Bethel Youth Program in care of Mt. Bethel Church of God, 1668 Talmadge Drive, Toccoa, GA 30577.
