Funeral services for Carol Faulkner Chapman, 95, of Baldwin, are scheduled for 11 a.m. today, Dec. 7, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with the Rev. Frank Sailers and the Rev. Scott Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Baldwin Cemetery.

Mrs. Chapman died Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, in Duluth.

Born March 10, 1916, in Hall County, she was a daughter of the late Newton Cicero and Mattie Pittman Faulkner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Chapman, and her son-in-law, Carol Everton.

Mrs. Chapman worked as a supervisor at Mt. Vernon Mills for several years and was a member of Baldwin Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Yvonne Everton of Baldwin; sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Brenda Chapman of Toccoa, and Dwight and Dorothy “Dede” Chapman of Alpharetta; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Baldwin Baptist Church, 200 Shore St., Baldwin, GA 30511.
