Private graveside services for Enid Claire Raaen, 89, of Cleveland will be held today, April 13, at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. today, April 13, at First Presbyterian Church in Cleveland.

Mrs. Raaen died April 10, 2012, at her residence.

Born Jan. 25, 1923, in Passaic, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Christopher and Blanche Neild Bockius.

Enid had a deep love and generosity for her family, as well as a heart for the needy. She was a mystical poet and a lover of numbers. She spent many hours every day studying and meditating on the Bible. Above all, she was passionate in her faith and devotion to God.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Tom D. Raaen of Cleveland; children, Terri Raaen, Eric Raaen and wife, Marguerite, Chris Raaen and wife, Raye Ann, Tina Reynolds and husband, Brad, Trudy Raaen and Claudia Raaen; as well as 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
