Funeral services for Eula Mae Wheeler Price, 90, of Demorest, will be held at 11 a.m. today, Dec. 9, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, with the Rev. Anthony Shore officiating. Burial will be in the Wheeler Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Price died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, following a brief illness.

Born Sept. 17, 1921, in Rabun County, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Harrison and Mary Collins Nation. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jim Henry Wheeler, and was the widow of Hugh Edward Price; son, Howard Wheeler; five siblings; granddaughter, Sherrie McDuffie; and grandson, Randy Cole.

Mrs. Price was of the Holiness faith and enjoyed sewing, quilting and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Shook of Cornelia; daughters and sons-in-law, Maevrie and Wayne English of Demorest, and Patsy and Claude Roberts of Demorest; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Diane Wheeler of Clayton, Johnny and Colleen Wheeler of Demorest, Chester and Debra Wheeler of Demorest, and Clifford and Sandy Wheeler of Demorest; sons, Henry Wheeler of Demorest, and Donald Wheeler of Demorest; sisters, Vinnie Ramey of Clarkesville, Ethel Freeman of Cleveland, Anna Bell Arrowood of Cleveland, Grace McAllium of Cleveland, Lula Bell Powers of Cornelia, and Nancy Poole of Maysville; brother, Raburn Nation of Demorest; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
