Mrs. Cragg went home to Heaven Tuesday, March 18, 2014.

Mrs. Cragg spent much of her young life with her aunt and uncle, Frances and Garland Canup. She married Josh Cragg in March of 1949, and worked as a homemaker for her husband and four children. She worked hard in the garden and always had wonderful meals prepared for the family. Mrs. Cragg loved to plant flowers and also loved to have red geraniums hanging in the baskets on the front porch. She made sure there was clothing for her children, often making items herself. Mrs. Cragg was a member of Enon Baptist Church and helped the church in any way she could.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Larry Palmer of Demorest, Evelyn and Raymond Payne of Cornelia, Ann and Tom Jones of Alto; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Loretta Cragg of Lula; granddaughters, Angela Palmer Lee, Kayla Cragg Fouts, Elizabeth Pitts Hannas; grandsons, Andrew Palmer, Chad Payne, Kent Payne, Tommy Cragg, Adam Cragg; great-grandchildren, Tristen Payne, Savannah Payne, Austin Payne, Colton Shadburn, Melanie Bustos, Luke Hannas, Amos Lee and Cameron Fouts.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Affinis Hospice LLC, 2565 Thompson Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30510. Both Josh and Lois received excellent care by this hospice group, with special care from Wendy Jennings.
