Funeral services for James David Sellers, 71, of Alto, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at Sosebee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. John Graham and the Rev. Jason Walls officiating. Burial followed in Macedonia Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Sellers died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Mr. Sellers was a member of Bethesda Congregational Holiness Fellowship Church and a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Ellen Sellers; daughter and son-in-law, Leanne and Lonny Chapman of Murrayville; brothers, Bill Sellers and Clyde E. Sellers, both of Canton; grandchildren, Austin Bagby, Reece Chapman, Reid Chapman, Easton Chapman and Acie Grace Chapman.

Sosebee Funeral Home, Canton, was in charge of arrangements.
