Funeral services for June Moore Barrett, 79, of Cornelia, are scheduled for 3 p.m. today, Dec. 5, at Chattahoochee Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Anderson and the Rev. Bill Gravley officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Barrett died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at her daughter’s residence.

Born May 23, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Akin and Gladys Evans Moore. Mrs. Barrett was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking and reading. She was a faithful and active member of Chattahoochee Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and church family.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Herman Barrett of Cornelia; son and daughter-in-law, Gilbert and Donna Barrett of Demorest; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and David Bentley of Cornelia; grandchildren, Johnathan, Allison and Will Barrett; sister, Jerri Murphy of Hoschton; sister-in-law, Helen Barrett of Cornelia; nephews, Rick and Perry Murphy of Hoschton; special caregivers and family friends, Denise and Lamar Coleman of Cornelia.

Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the Chattahoochee Baptist Church Building Fund, 7905 Duncan Bridge Road, Cleveland, GA 30528.
