Funeral services for Marlow “Shorty” Crocker, 89, of Cornelia, are scheduled for 2 p.m. today, Jan. 2, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with Pastor Mike Franklin, the Rev. Bill Trotter, the Rev. Luther Williams and the Rev. James Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Crocker died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012.

Born Jan. 11, 1923, in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Will and Annie Jordan Crocker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Dodd Crocker.

He was a member of Mount Sinai Congregational Holiness Church. Mr. Crocker retired from Fieldale farms with 27 years of service.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Bonnie Crocker of Baldwin; two grandchildren, Jeffery Cleveland and Diane Carter; two great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Cleveland and Christy Pruitt; and one great-great-grandchild, Nevaeh Pruitt.
