Funeral services for Mary Bell Miller, 94, of Cleveland, were held Wednesday, May 9, at the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Irvin, the Rev. Tony Rogers and the Rev. W.A. Jenkins officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Miller died Monday, May 7, 2012.

Born Feb. 24, 1918, in White County, she was the daughter of the late William Madison Crane and Mattie Hulsey Crane. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Moody and Gene Miller; as well as her six brothers, sister, two grandsons and daughter.

Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and well known for her delicious homemade pies and cakes. She was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Lois Taylor of Demorest; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Paulette Moody of Commerce, Clyde and Elaine Moody of Cleveland, Clarence and Jeanine Moody of Clermont, and James and Margaret Moody of Demorest; as well as 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
