Mrs. Baker died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011.
Born March 22, 1929, in Marietta, she was the daughter of the late Luther Franklin Chastain and Jessie Lee Williams Chastain.
Mrs. Baker was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and retired from Scovill Manufacturing with 35 years of service. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Norman Baker of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Cherri Morrison of Cleveland; son, Michael Morrison of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Sammy Franklin of Mt. Airy; sisters, Lucy Clardy of Martin, Barbara Caudell of Mt. Airy; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Boyce Martin of Alto; brothers and sisters-in-laws, L.M. and Marie Chastain of Mt. Airy, T.R. and Betty Chastain of Conyers, Thomas and Frances Chastain of Douglasville, David and Patricia Chastain of Mt. Airy, Robert and Sue Chastain of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Patrick and wife Chrissy Franklin, Lucas Franklin, John Morrison, Sarah Morrison; numerous nieces and nephews.
