She was born Nov. 24, 1961, to the late Rev. Mitford Ray Megginson Sr. and Mrs. Cleo Ruth Faggard Megginson in her beloved hometown of Fairhope, Ala.

The great privilege of Terry’s life was serving the Lord through music and ministry. Throughout her career she served as pianist at her alma mater, Mobile College, and Hillcrest Baptist Church, Mobile, Ala.; Johns Creek Baptist Church, Alpharetta; First Baptist Church, Cornelia; and Clarkesville United Methodist Church, Clarkesville. Terry worked in public relations at Broadway Baptist Church, Ft. Worth, Texas; Mobile College; and for the last 15 years with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship developing global missions campaigns and organizing General Assembly gatherings.
Terry’s truest joy was being a mother to her daughters, who will miss her deeply.
The family would like to thank Elizabeth Bernstein and the team at Dr. Andrew Green’s practice and Sandy, Kara, Debra, Nanci, Dora and Bruce for their exceptional care.
Memorials may be made in Terry’s name to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center and Clarkesville United Methodist Church.
