First half offense propels Lady Lions past local foe Toccoa Falls 3-0

Piedmont College (12-0) picked up three first-half goals Tuesday night in a 3-0 shutout of the Toccoa Falls College Screaming Eagles. The win was before a packed house at Walker Athletic Complex for Youth Night and was the team’s 12th straight victory. Cassidy Reich scored her first goal just seven minutes in after Tabea Soelter slipped a through ball behind the Toccoa back four. Reich would score on a header 16 minutes later, nodding away a Tori Gillett corner kick, the first of two corners that Piedmont scored on in the first half.
