He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Leona Parker, and his brother, Rick Parker.
A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife, Anita Louise Parker; children, Kristen Martin, Amy Kucsak, John Robert Parker; and six grandchildren.
A veteran of Vietnam, he spent his last years as a corrections officer at Lee Arrendale State Prison. He enjoyed gourmet cooking, fishing and painting.
