Funeral services for Shirley Ann Irvin Worley, 68, of Oakwood were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 1, at Belton Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Gillespie officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with the Rev. Cecil Thomas officiating.

Mrs. Worley died Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born Feb. 8, 1943, in White County, she was a daughter of the late Clinton Telford Irvin and the late Gladys Lee Hogan Irvin Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Russell Worley; brother, Curtis Irvin; and sister, Brenda Smith.

Mrs. Worley was a member of Belton Baptist Church of Lula. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene Worley, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and John Moore, of the home; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Carroll and Dorothy Irvin, and Tommy and Bernice Irvin, all of Mt. Airy.
