Funeral services for Clarence Lee Mills, 82, of Baldwin, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, with the Rev. Janice Sudderth and the Rev. Carlton Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Mills died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at Habersham Medical Center following an extended illness.

Born June 30, 1929, in Forsyth County, he was the son of the late Yerb and Nora Teasley Mills. He also was preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters.

Mr. Mills was a self-employed cabinet maker and a member of Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel Church in Clarkesville.

Survivors include his loving wife, Imogene Ramey Mills of Baldwin; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra M. and David H. Groover of Baldwin; and grandson, Stacey David Groover of Baldwin. Mr. Mills was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today, Dec. 7, at the North Chapel.
