Funeral services for Alma Crow Partridge, 79, of Cornelia, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with the Rev. Paul Morris and the Rev. Lloyd Free officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Partridge died Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at Habersham Medical Center.

Born Jan. 19, 1932, in Hall County, she was a daughter of the late Marion Newton and Pauline Woodall Crow. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Partridge; sister, Dorothy Erwin; and son-in-law, Reid Jones.

Mrs. Partridge was a retired registered nurse at Habersham Medical Center with 15 years of service. She also worked in the nursing field for 45 years and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Tina Jones of Cornelia; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Tony Stutes of Gray Court, S.C.; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Grapelle Partridge of Cornelia, and Gary and Polly Partridge of Easley, S.C.; brother, Pete Crow, Gainesville, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
