Mrs. Lee died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at a private nursing facility.
Born Feb. 19, 1950, in Clarkesville, she was a daughter of Lonia Pilgrim Gunter and the late Marvin McAllister. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn McAllister; and great-nephew, Christopher Kylen Stamey.
Mrs. Lee was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church and was a store manager with Kangaroo. She enjoyed napping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tabitha and Phillip Loggins of Mt. Airy; son and daughter-in-law, Bucky and April Lee of Clarkesville; mother, Lonia Pilgrim Gunter of Demorest; father of the children, Ted Lee of Townville, S.C.; stepfather, Royce Gunter of Athens; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Janice McAllister of Cornelia; sister, Carolyn Wade of Mt. Airy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Teresa and Gary Free of Clarkesville, Nikki and Keith Pritchard of Gainesville, and Stacy and Ronnie Freeman of Demorest; grandchildren, Taylor Moose, Jackson Lee, Chandli Loggins, Abby Lee and Madi Loggins; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
