Mr. Myrick died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Emory University Hospital.
Born Aug. 4, 1959, in Hamburg, Germany, he was the son of Mary Nelson Myrick of Cartersville and the late William Guice Myrick.
Mr. Myrick was employed with Ram Partners LLC, where he was a regional maintenance specialist. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed NASCAR, spending time with family and working.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda M. Myrick of Demorest; son, Christopher Myrick of Atlanta; daughters, Angela Myrick of Adairsville, Tammie Myrick of Rome, Chasity and Charlene Myrick, both of Atlanta; stepson, Amon Jones of Toccoa; brother, William G. Myrick of Cartersville; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Lena McGahee, 170 Thomas St., Apt. A, Cornelia, GA 30531.
