A celebration of life for Eddie Price, 52, of Demorest, was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at The Torch Worship Center with Pastor Mike Franklin and Dale Underwood officiating. Burial followed in Bethel Baptist Church cemetery.

Mr. Price died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at his residence.

Born Sept. 9, 1960, in Lenoir, N.C., he was the son of the late Howard and Beulah Hartley Price.

Mr. Price was employed with Northeast Georgia Medical Center as a buildings maintenance coordinator. He was a member of The Torch Worship Center and enjoyed trout fishing, playing the guitar, but most of all spending time with his family. Eddie was truly an inspiration and Christ-like example to all whom he came in contact with.

Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Lavenia Price of Demorest; son and daughter-in-law, Levi and Christy Price of Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Cristen and Matthew Rabern of Demorest; grandson, Elijah Thomas Price; mother, Evelyn Adams of Taylorsville, N.C.; brothers, Raymond Kirby and Ray Bryant, both of Taylorsville, N.C., and Tony Bryant of Ashville, N.C.; mother-in-law and spouse, Lee and Wayne Gragg of the Batesville Community; father-in-law and spouse, Thurman and Patsy Allen of Demorest.
