Cyndy ‘Coondie’ Grove

A memorial service for Cyndy “Coondie” Grove, 46, of Pittsburgh, Pa., was held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Cornelia Community House.

Mrs. Grove died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Cyndy was born Nov. 27, 1965, at Alaghaney Hospital in Pennsylvania to the late Jerry and Nelson Mikesell.

Cyndy was employed in public safety in Habersham County for 18 years. She worked at Habersham County 911 Center as a dispatcher, and she also worked for Baldwin Police Department, and Demorest Police Department. Cyndy enjoyed fishing, relaxing at the lake and Steelers football with her son, Nathan Grove.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Garland Grove; sons, Nathan Charles Grove and Gary Fisher; sisters, Shelly Mikesell, Kellie Mikesell, Donna Niemczyk, and Christine Mikesell; her bestfriend, Dina Mollinero; grandchildren, Kennedy Marie Fisher and Dominic Loy; as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends.

Memorials may be made to Cyndy’s sister, Kellie Mikesell, as Cyndy didn’t have insurance at her time of passing.
