Funeral services for Sandra Canup Kimbrell, 56, of Clarkesville, will be held at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 13, at Hillside Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Tracy Davidson, the Rev. Bill Trotter and Bobby Parham officiating. Burial will follow in Amy’s Creek Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Kimbrell died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.

Born April 1, 1956, in Demorest, she was the daughter of the late Vance and Lois Eller Canup. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kay Ricketson, and brother, Sammy Canup.

Mrs. Kimbrell worked at Coats and Clark in Toccoa.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy K. and Kevin Ridley of Lula; brothers, Calvin Canup; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tippy and Wanda Canup and Bill and Oleta Canup, all of Clarkesville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Terrell Hamilton of Clarkesville, Camella and Seaborn Brown of Baldwin, and Susie and Johnny Singleton of Toccoa; sister, Peggy Ward of Clarkesville; as well as three grandchildren, Meaghan, Cade and Cody Ridley.
