DAPHNE, Ala. – Graveside services for Ollie Mae Peyton, 92, born in Clarkesville and a current resident of Daphne, Ala., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at Lindale Cemetery in Lindale, with the Rev. Tim Patnode and the Rev. Stan Robertson officiating.

Mrs. Peyton died Sunday, April 7, 2013.

Mrs. Peyton lived in Atlanta most of her adult life where she was a homemaker and foster mother for more than 25 years. She was a member of Sylvan Hill Baptist Church in Atlanta. She had lived in Aragon prior to moving to Daphne, Ala., in 2006.

Ollie is preceded in death by her parents, Roland A. and Carrie L. Moore; a sister, Ethel Moore; two brothers, Lex and Alonzo Moore; and by a son, Michael Lloyd Peyton.

Survivors include her son, Stan (Kay) Robertson of Daphne, Ala.; two grandchildren, Tonia Christian and Michael Jacob Peyton; two great-grandchildren, Brianna Kay Powell and Richard Cobb; a daughter-in-law, Beth Peyton Batchelor; and other relatives and friends.
