Funeral services for Guy Willard England, 78, of Alto, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with the Rev. Paul Creason and the Rev. James Creason officiating. Burial followed in Living Mission United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. England died Thursday, July 25, 2013, at his residence.

Born June 6, 1935, in Houschton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Clara Mae Wade England. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Annette Wehunt and Drucilla Lynn.

Mr. England was a retired truck driver and was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Shirley England of Alto; sons and daughters-in-law, Phil and Donna England of Cornelia, Eddie and Naja England of Maysville, and Roger and Regina England of Alto; sister, Betty Sue Cochran of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Tyler England, Elisha Kinsey, David Bennett, Chanda England, Jeremy England, Casey England, Madelin Garcia and Amanda Jones; and nine great-grandchildren.
