Graveside services for Kenneth “Wolf” Marcellus Smith, 58, of Cornelia, were held at 3 p.m., Monday, Aug. 5, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Alto, with the Rev. Jeff Echols officiating.

Mr. Smith died Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at his residence.

A son of James W. Smith and the late Bonnie L. Masters Ketelsen, he was born Aug. 23, 1954, in Detroit, Mich., having lived most of his life in Georgia.

He was a forklift operator and was of the Church of God faith.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Diamond Smith of the home; father, James W. Smith of Spartanburg, S.C.; a daughter, Katrina Smith-Colombo of Carbondale, Ill.; three sons, Nicholas (Nick) Smith of Carbondale, Ill., Jason Smith of Spartanburg, S.C., and Solomon Smith of North Liberty, Iowa; four grandchildren, Mercedes, Alexis, Nathan, Ethan; a brother, Tony Smith of Moline, Ill.; and three sisters, Carol Boultinghouse of Coal Valley, Ill., Joann Jellis of Turnerville, and Brenda Mazzarollo of Alto.

The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Ron Boultinghouse, Bud Smith, Eric Colombo, Nick Smith, Geneo Waters and Stan Brotherton.
