Funeral services for Ralph T. Crouch Jr., 85, of Turnerville, will be held at 11 a.m. today, Oct. 16, at The Torch Worship Center, Demorest, with Pastor Mike Franklin and the Rev. Ron Glaze officiating. A private family burial will follow.

Mr. Crouch died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013.

Born April 19, 1928, in Meriwether County, he was the son of the late Ralph Toles Crouch Sr. and Bashie Frances Massengale Crouch.

He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and an ordained deacon. Mr. Crouch was a member of Georgia Mountains Tres Dias and Northeast Georgia Cattlemen’s Associations. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Crouch was the senior executive vice president of Alexander Seewald Co. Inc., with 22 years of service, and was the co-founder of Turkey Crest Farms.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Ira Williams Crouch of Turnerville; daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Danny Walker of Woodstock; sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph “Ray” T. Crouch III and Susan V. Crouch of Germantown, Tenn., and David Lawson and Teresa G. Crouch of Turnerville; brother, Harvey Jesse Crouch of Alpharetta; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
