Graveside services for Patricia Jane Simmons Robinson, 68, of Toccoa, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Yonah Memorial Gardens, Demorest, with the Rev. Janice Sudderth officiating.

The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Todd Bramlett, Jamey Foster, Ricky Loudermilk, Buck Simmons, Dustin Thacker and Doug Thacker.

Mrs. Robinson died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Heritage Healthcare in Toccoa.

A daughter of the late W.A. “Gus” and Mildred Singleton Simmons, she was born May 17, 1945, in Stephens County, having lived most of her life in Habersham County and the last 20 years in Stephens County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, W.A. Simmons Jr. and Jimmy Simmons.

She was employed with Fieldale and Milliken for a number of years and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son, Rodney Brown of Cornelia; granddaughter, Hope Brown; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Dot Simmons of Toccoa; sisters and brothers-in-law, Yvonne and Doug Thacker of Toccoa, and Joan and Steve Bailey of Alto; and a number of nieces and nephews.
