LouElla Trotter Cleveland, 98, of Clarkesville, was welcomed into heaven Sept. 30, 2019, by her husband, Ken and son, Michael, along with many other loved ones.

There will be a game day celebration honoring Edward E. "Ebbie" Strain of Cornelia, and Islamorada, Florida, to watch the Georgia vs. Tennessee football game and visitation Saturday, Oct.

A funeral service for Pauline Wood Morrison, 99, of the Batesville Community, Clarkesville, was held Thursday, Oct. 3, at Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Doster officiating.

Never one to bow to conventional traditions, it was Ed's desire to forego a memorial service. 

A memorial service for William Glenn Irwin Hogan, 91, of Cornelia, will be held Friday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with the Rev. John Umberhant officiating.

Two memorial services will be held in honor of former Cobb County Commission Chairman Tim Lee.  The first service will be held Friday, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m.

Funeral services for Hazel Estelle Powers Davis, 89, of Mt. Airy, were held Sunday, Sept. 29, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris York and the Rev.

Winnie Hester Dill, 71, of Toccoa, passed away Sept. 29, 2019, following an extended illness.

Anita Louise Geiszler Simpkins, 70, of Demorest, passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019.

Edwin Calvin Freeman Nix, 74, of Toccoa, passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2019. Private services will be held at a later date.
